Hopefully this is OK to post here. (Also, first post! *Waves* Hey guys!)
Some of you guys might have heard of a website called 'TVtropes'. For those who haven't, a little intro- basically, it's an informal wiki which collects:
a) Definitions of tropes, which are common character archetypes/narrative devices/etc in fiction.
b) Examples of how/where these are used
c) Synopsis' of works of fiction and what tropes they use.
It's informal because it doesn't have notability, etc, and it's also really fun/ny to browse. Seriously, this site is the biggest time sink/time waster you will ever see. (I have fifteen tabs of the site open right now...)
I'm the starter of the Skulduggery Pleasant series article over there, and at the moment, pretty much the only contributer. I've got a decent sized article up but because I have sporadic access to the first two books (I'm working on adding stuff from the third, which I actually own, as we speak) I could use some help.
The article is here
. Like wikipedia, there's no need to sign up, you can edit straight away. SP fandom is pretty small at the moment, so I figured a place to give the series some recognition would be nice. If anyone wants to add to/rewrite parts of/contribute to the page, I'd really appreciate it!
You can also add Skulduggery Pleasant as an example to trope pages themselves, of course.
